I had my 35th birthday White Affair celebration here with over 10 friends. The food and staff were just amazing. They went above and beyond to make sure everything was done decent and in order. The setting was beautiful and went along with my theme. We stayed and chilled and joked for hours and they continued to come to check, refill, and clean up. Everyone was able to order something they liked. It's a great restaurant for a date night and adult style celebrations. Definitely keeping them on my chic and sophisticated spots list.

Came here for dinner. The location of the restaurant is along the river, and is not enclosed, so there is no ac. It’s not too hot at night, and there are several fans blowing to cool the environment down.The dishes I orders tastes pretty good. The drink is kind of disappointing though, there is not much taste to it. But everything else is fine. Love the bread and it’s sauce. Won’t mind coming again in the future.

The place is located right in the middle and it offers a great view. Go there at the sunset time and observe all the boats slowly going back. Order their delicious food and enjoy a beer in one table looking straight to the rivers. The light of the city will do the rest for you to have an unforgettable evening. Great service!

One of the few chances my wife offer to treat me dinner, I was politely tricked to rejected an entry.5 min earlier we walked by, I overheard the host telling a guest for a 10 min wait. When we came back, the host looked at us and said, sorry we are full with a sorry smile. As we walked away, my wife commented how strange he didn't offer to give us a wait time, and there are open seats in the back.That's when I realized what had happened..

The pastry is undercooked (it is still soft and similar to melted cheese) we have provided the feedback but they insisted it is done. I brought it back home and cooked by oven to confirm if it is done or not, and I can 100% sure it is undercooked while it is served.

It's nice to have a large beer collection to choose from, but the food is not very good and rather pricey. Staff is not trained to clear empty plates or bring the accompanying bread together with its dish.

This cafe located on Road 130 near Ginger Garden. It does very good drink and with a nice view.We ordered ginger smoothie and strawberry tea at that afternoon, we loved both, especially the ginger smoothie. It was amazing!! Once you have it, you will love it.

Some good tasting food. They have vegetarian dishes only and beyond meat, plant-based protein pepperoni. They do not offer cola, but have carbonated water. Overall, it's a quaint place to enjoy a good meal

Furnishing and decor was nice. Very cool air conditioning. Be prepared it's a vegetarian italian restaurant. Bread is not included in set meals. I would say it's on the pricy side for the value of foods ordered.

We have been here a few times and each time, their dishes are bland. We always have to add salt and they still weren't worth what we paid. The environment is nice but mosquitos always come in. The windows and walls are not sealed properly.We stopped going here because we were told we could not eat there due to reservations. The place was almost completely empty and one table just got up and left. They still wouldn't let us sit. We told them we eat quickly and would be out in under an hour. We got so aggregated and never went back.I recommend Pizza Rock or even Bettinos over this place.

While this is a bit out of my way to travel to too often. Their vegetarian food is great! I had the vegetarian paella and the restaurant definitely fulfilled and exceeded my expectations.

Already been here two times and it's still one of the best restaurant for vegetarian. Though the price is not low, but the food in here is pretty safe to eat. I have a friend which is sensitive to unnatural ingredients in the food, the menu from this restaurant isn't causing any problems to him, so I am confident that about that.One problem of this restaurant is the traffic, for now only bus number 839 is passed by, so it's not convenient to go there if you are not driving. But for vegetarian, I think it's worth it.

My husband and I went to this place for a spontaneous midweek date night and we’re both very happy about our orders and experience. The live music was fabulous. Both of our orders were full of flavor and good sized portions for the price. The night we went the restaurant was clearly understaffed and it took extra time to get waiters attention, but otherwise the servers were friendly and accommodating. Now that we know the expansive enclosed patio area is available for restaurant guests to enjoy before or after the meal, we plan to go back with some friends for a double date.

Amazing place. Food, waitresses, the view. The waiters and the waitresses are super polite and well trained. It is nice to have a place like this in banqiao! The live music makes this place romantic so it is great for going on dates!

I've been here twice. The food was good, restaurant's atmosphere was good but somehow the staff made us uncomfortable for both times.They didn't offer any baskets for coats and stuff.And I guess it is not child friendly place.The food quantity was not much, but the quality was ok.When I visited for the first time, I liked the atmosphere and the food. But I probably will not visit again.

I love it being here. The place is just so perfect for dating. I came here during tea time and ordered Tea Set for 2 set B. It was not disappointing at all, we were so satisfied with the dishes, the service and the outside scenery.

The cocktails this restaurant supplies is great! You can enjoy the specialties which are mixed by special ingredients! However, the food here is not as good as their drinks.

Very good location but need innovative ideas on both Menu engineering and major revamp is needed for the Service team particularly the one who pick up the phone in the morning shift monitoring is badly needed.You are lucky or maybe blessed to survive due to the location but not anything else. Therefore, it’s time to really think hard what can be cultivate and build on from the exceptional advantage that is already there By maintaining the current status cannot last for too long …… you will for sure be replaced sooner then you think 🤔

Better than expected. Only one white and one red wine available by the glass. We sat indoors as it was cold outside. Service was some of the best I've encountered in Taiwan, with efficient cleaning of dirty dishes from the table.

So refreshing to find such a lovely restaurant in Tamsui! Great space, relaxing and cool interior, and a good place to enjoy the sunset from out on the balcony. The food was a delight too, large serving of pasta (vegetable spaghetti was full of veg, al dente pasta and hearty sauce), and the salmon cream fettuccine was excellent. For 450$ youcan make it a set with a delicious soup, European style bread and one of the best cappuccinos I’ve had in a while. Oh and a cake too, which was also great. Service was excellent, courteous and helpful. One thing I’d recommend to La Villa though is some... tablecloths for the outdoor tables and some cushions on the seats. However, all in all, I highly recommend La Villa. Really nice to be surprised by such good value and flavor.read more

Wonderful restaurant at the edge of Danshui harbor.The exterior would need a good coat of paint, but the interior has a minimalist vibe with interesting second-hand decorations.The food is western and not expensive.There is a wide selection to choose from, but all of them are delicious.The portions are small, but a 100NTD supplement gives you bread, soup, dessert and tea/coffee. A complete meal will leave you full and content.Go there for the sunset and get an evening dinner. Fabulous for a romantic dinner.

A hidden gem waterfront restaurant in Tamsui. It’s quite a walk from the MRT station but it’s so worth it! If you happen to snatch a patio table then you’d get to enjoy the ocean breeze and sound of water hitting the shore. To be frank, I wasn’t expecting the food to be great given that it’s located in such touristy neighborhood. I thoroughly enjoyed the set menu. No complaints for any of the dishes. The bread that came with the soup stood out the most for me, it’s what you’d find in a professional bakery, freshly baked and just the right amount of bite to it.

The pasta is cooked perfect~ and the taste with mild spicy taste to bring the great flavors out nicely!! However, shrimp is a bit small. Prawn would be a nice substitute if available. The location is a very romantic spot~ you are seated right next to the swell of the Danshuei River~ a popular tourist spot yet it is not crawling with noisy crowds~ highly recommended!!

Very authentic Vietnamese restaurant. I never knew Vietnamese food could be so delicious. Maybe my opinion, but it tasted better than the ones I tried in Vietnam. The taste is not vietnamese. "Banh xeo" seems like the best here but in my opinion, its just so so (with that prices & vietnamese original food). especially fish sauce, it has bad smell & not good at all. Beside that, its too crowded. 1 thing ok is about waitress, they're nice.

Incredible banh mi - crispy crust but thin and soft baguette with sweet sauce and pork. Probably best to go with a large group so you can order more and try more of their deep menu. Attentive, knowledgeable and thoughtful service as well as a short wait for dishes. Finally, the price is very reasonable!P.S. If you’re driving, they have a parking lot.

Most selections I’ve ever seen of authentic Vietnamese food. They do the favorites - pho, spring rolls, and cold noodles. But also do a bunch of banquet dishes you wouldn’t normally see like steamed and fried fish, clay pot dishes and a version of hot pot. They also do a ban xeo - which I was super excited for - it was the first time I’d seen on in Taiwan.

Make me wait 30 minutes to tell me one of my order(mushroom) is already out of order. Ask me to exchange the dish to another dish. We choose tofu. 8 minutes later tell me that tofu is also out of order. Unbelievable bad management and low efficiency.Food is above average. View is nice. But food is slow, like very slow. The shop is not even half full, and multiple customer has to get to the counter to check on the progress for their food. Estimated time to have something to eat is like 40mins after order in a not so busy shop.
